Icy eyes flashed with impatience, life hadn't been the greatest lately. Sure, she was a warrior now .. but at what cost? She gave up on being the apprentice of the medicine cat, to continue to train as a normal apprentice so she could have kits, but what had gotten into her head?! Being the medicine cat of SkyClan had been her dream ever since she was young, and to give that up when it had become her future, well that was just idiotic. Expecially when she knew that no tom could ever love her. She was just Diamondeyes, nothing special, not so beautiful that a tom could fall for her, just plain Diamondeyes. And she had her one chance to break that mold, but threw it away for some impossible longing.
The young warrior padded into the forest, trying to find something to do with her meaningless life, but what? She hated hunting, since it involved the killing of a creature, although she liked to eat dead things. But going on patrol by herself was not the smartest thing to do, for if she was ambushed, surely the small black feline would be slain. And its not as if she had many friends either, Eveninglight was her only companion... which totally sucked. Not that she wasn't a great friend, but she had a life as well and could not spend every second of every day following her pitiful self around. Sighing, Diamondeyes flopped onto the ground, would life ever look up?
