Personality: Moonfalls is young, but acts as wise as an elder. She has many stories to tell of her life, and enjoys sharing them with the kits. For her rank in the clan she is respectable, noble & determined. When anything is wrong, or when anyone is in trouble, she is the one who wants to help most, worried that she might lose someone, again. When the kits are playing outside of the nursery, she is not afraid to join in with them, many of the kits love her. Before the fire, as an apprentice she could be cheeky, but after the loss of her home, brother and mentor she has learned to be more obedient and respectful. The number one priority in her life now, is to help and save others.
Description: Her pelt is a silky black color, making her almost invisible at night. The only thing that shines in the mist of the night is her pale blue eyes. The flank of her body is small & fragile she is very light in weight. Her favorite season is Leaf-Bare; because it’s the only time of year she is visible at night, though she hates it when the clan kits get white-cough and such. Her paws a small making it easier for her to collect herbs, and her tail is flexible enough to hold some bundles of herbs. Though she is a medicine cat, her flexible body is good for movement as a warriors movement would be.
History: Moonfalls was born in the deeps of night in Leaf-Bare under the shining moon. The sky was filled with stars falling from the sky. Her mother, Mysticnight, was originally from StreamClan, but was forced out once the clan found she mated with a loner. Though there was doubt she still believed that StarClan would travel with her and her newly born daughter & son. The three cats lived happily ever after, but not quite. As the crescent of the moon shown down on the wandering cats, a growl came not far from behind them. A coyote came from the mist, they all tried to run, but Mysticnight knew it would be no use. She sacrificed herself for her kits who were five moons old, “Run, run back to the Clans!” she shouted as her final words. The kits looked back terrified, watching their mother being carried away in the grip of the coyote. A dew sun rises later the kits were able to find themselves in AirClan territory, where a patrol took them back to camp. They grew as apprentices at 5 moons since they would have been starting apprenticeship in less than a moon anyways. A deadly scent struck the Medicine Cat Apprentice, Fire! she thought and ran out of her den. The Camp blazed before her, fear made her immobile. Her brother was no where to be seen, and then someone took her by the scruff dragging her to safety. When the cats made contact, she thought she saw her brother, but soon the cat ran off. There were very few survivors, and many cats thought that other escaped but continued a different path. Moonfalls’s mentor Nightsong was growing tired, and knew she wouldn’t be able to travel the rest of the way to the new territory. She asked to stay behind, because she knew that Moonfalls was ready to take the job as AirClan, still frightened by fire but worthy of StarClan.
IC: Moonfalls awoken with the scent of fresh snow covering the Clan’s ground. It was fresh, quiet, & cold, but the still of the air made it joyful. She set a pay into the snow, ‘The first print in the season’ she thought to herself, then a smile came across her face. The surface of the snow was so soft and dense, that she couldn’t help but roll into it. Her silky black pelt soon was covered in chunks of white snow. A chill ran through her spin, she shivered, and decided to crawl back into her den for a little more warmth. Leaf-Bare was officially here, now it was the time she was most needed.
