A big brownish Gray tom raced over to the sunny brook. Kicking up dust as he ran, his golden yellow eyes shined with happyness. It had been a very long day, and he was growing hungry. He leaped up onto a rock and turned his eyes to the water. He saw a great big fish and got his claws ready to attack. He frooze not moveing a inch. As soon as the fish was close, he swiftly used his right claw and pulled it out of the water and threw it onto the grass. With a leap, he quickly gave it a killing bit ending its life. He gave a purr and started to eat happly.

Sitting on the edge of the Sunny Brook, the young black tabby she-cat sat in dignified silence. Her long tabby fur swayed gently in the soft evening breeze, her long fluffy tail wrapped neatly about her paws, yet swished every once in a while. Her deep amber eyes stared blankly ahead, as though she was lost in a world of her own. And in a way, she was. So much had happened to her in her short life. And she tried desperately not to let it get to her, however, recently she had become more withdrawn, silent, cld, and uncaring. Maybe it was because she was lacking in the "friend" department. Not having anyone whom with to concide in.
Prairiesnow sighed, her eyes coming back into focus. She shifted her paws slightly, and looked further upstream. She jumped slightly as she noticed the fgray tom and his fishing antics. He was quite good. Yet slightly enthusiastic bout something unbeknownst to her. She smiled slightly, just watching him in his fishing antics. Then stopped. Had she just smiled? A frown crossed her face as she wondered why. Maybe just the prospect of meeting a new cats. And possibly having a friend.
